ATLANTA — Senate Majority Leader Jason Anavitarte, R–Dallas, today announced the appointment of Caleb Rudin as his new chief of staff.
The appointment is effective July 16.
Rudin joins Anavitarte’s office after serving as manager of state affairs for the American Chemistry Council, where he represented the chemical manufacturing industry before state legislatures across a 12-state region in the Southeast. In that role, he advocated on issues impacting manufacturing, American competitiveness, energy and infrastructure.
He also served as an expert on policy panels and regularly engaged with regulatory agencies on legislative matters.
Before joining the American Chemistry Council, Rudin worked in both the public and private sectors, including leadership roles on political campaigns. He also served as political director for former state Sen. Butch Miller’s 2022 lieutenant governor campaign.
Earlier in his career, Rudin held multiple positions in the Georgia State Senate, including serving as legislative aide to the Senate Ethics Committee, where he supported members on legislative, policy and political matters.
