President Donald Trump is expected to visit Marietta next week to promote a new savings program tied to last year’s Republican tax and spending package, the Georgia Republican Party said.
The program allows families to open tax-deferred savings accounts for children under 18 and contribute up to $5,000 annually, according to the party.
Georgia Republican Party Chairman Josh McKoon said the visit highlights Trump’s continued focus on economic policy and other Republican priorities, including border security and election integrity.
The party did not immediately include additional details about the time, location or public access for the event.
