Sports radio host John Kincade is returning to Dickey Broadcasting, bringing a familiar voice back to 680 The Fan after years in the Philadelphia market.
Kincade previously helped establish himself in Atlanta sports radio during his earlier run with the station before moving north. Now he's returning to a station that has long been part of the city's sports conversation.
Dickey Broadcasting, based at The Battery Atlanta in the Cumberland area of Cobb County, steps from Truist Park, announced the move but has not yet released details about Kincade's role, programming schedule or on-air debut. Those are expected in the coming weeks.
The return marks another recognizable name joining a station that has built its identity around local sports talk. Founded in 1993, 680 The Fan has covered Atlanta's major teams through decades of growth, championship runs and coaching changes, becoming one of the market's longest-running sports radio brands.
