Applications are open for the 2027 Smyrna Leadership Exchange, a yearlong program that gives a small group of local business and community leaders a closer look at how the city works.
The Smyrna Business Association plans to select 15 to 20 participants for the 12-month program. Applications are due Sept. 15, 2026, with selections scheduled to be announced Sept. 25.
The program is open to business owners, professionals, emerging leaders and others interested in becoming more involved in Smyrna. Participants will take part in sessions focused on city government, economic development, education, public safety, workforce development, health, nonprofits, arts and culture and other parts of community life.
The 2027 class is expected to make its first public appearance at the Smyrna Business Association’s October luncheon.
